Our Mission and the Story of SADAT

A properly trained alert dog recognizes glycemic variations, reducing medical emergencies by 75% and patient anxiety by 68%. This drives us to protect the most vulnerable and isolated individuals, ensuring they receive safe and scientifically validated support. Our mission is to professionalize and regulate the sector at a European level. We create digital training pathways based on certified micro-credentials, with the ultimate goal of having these dogs officially recognized and integrated into European public healthcare systems. The SADAT (Standardizing Diabetes Alert Dog Training) project brings together four European partners to fill the gap left by the absence of uniform standards in the training of diabetic alert dogs.
